Building Wealthy Bones.

Hey Guys thanks for visiting my page and my website, I am going to give you a brief story on my background and how this all began,

Right, so it's on!, I decided to create a database with JS to Clothing my files for each celebrity I add; this would mean there would be several pages, but this would work well with search engine optimization as each page would have its own identity rather than PHP, which would have just used particles from the database and implemented them into the page. If the website goes crazy, we may look at other ways of doing things.

The Search Bar

This was the most important part of the entire process, as I knew that it would be tricky to have a search bar work with JS and the database that I created, which was solely within the website rather than redirecting to a PHP database. So after some help from my friends over at Stack Overflow, we managed to get the function working, and that's that.

Finding The Bones

So I had created the database and search bar, now it was time to start working on the pages and celebrity searches. I created a simple algorithm to search the web for famous celebrities that had died in the last 100 years and filter them down to what would be most searched for; this worked well as without a filter I would have had thousands of results back.

After generating the names, I would then need to search for copyright-free images, which I would later turn into a cartoon vector effect to go in line with the website design, which at this point was just drawings.

Finding The Net Worth

I could generate a PDF list of all of the celebrities and their net worth's at the time of their deaths and what they would be worth today with a genetic estimation tool using current assets, past assets, and to date royalties. The process was not all automated, but the amount of code that was being written exceeded the 10,000 mark.

Building Wealthy Bones

I have all the major components now for the functionality of the website, so it was just a case of designing the website, which I already had from drawings, so I basically coded that using HTML and CSS. I would have around ten coding windows open at any one time to get things done faster. I would also use other code along the way from my friends at ''Harnish Design. These guys were amazing with the help in creating the slide show and other small components of the website.

The design of the website took me around a week to put together, along with writing what you're reading. I just needed to perfect a few things, and the website was finished.

The Name and Logo

So lastly, the name of the company and logo (brand) I had the name straight away with wealthy bones, so I registered it with IONOS and also registered the business as a limited company. The logo design came out pretty well too, with a font called ''Bones, some small adjustments in Photoshop and Illustrator, and that was when we were ready to launch a BETA version.

That's about it, guys. I hope you enjoy my little website. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me directly, jay@wealthybones.com
